Crash Problem with graphics

Post by ChibiAngel on Thu 21 Feb 2013, 08:46

I have all the expansion packs installed and it works perfectly fine, except on the Sunlit tides map that I downloaded from the mediafire file. I would start it and make a character and such, but when I actually play in the map, my computer freaks out and goes black a couple times while a message saying "intel graphics accelerator driver stopped working and has recovered" and appears about 5 times and then my computer crashes and goes to a blue screen. I use windows 7 ; 4GB RAM ; HP Pavilion dv6 notebook PC; 64-bit operating system
Is this a problem with my graphics? Is it lacking space or something? If so, how could i fix this?

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply!
Sounds like a driver problem to me.
What is your exact laptop model?

Hello,

Thank you, I saw that in your previous post too. But the DV6 should have a special code, a model code. For example: DV6 524x45wq23

A lot of times they put the model number on the bottom of the laptop. The should be a label there.

Hello,

It's not a big deal, but I want to update your graphic card drivers, just to be sure.
Indeed, see if you can find the model number on the bottom of the laptop.

Go here for all the current drivers for you laptop, for now I'd only worry about the chipset and graphics drivers.

Hello,

I see those drivers are out-dated too, but ah, it's better than nothing.
