Sorry for the late reply!
Unfortunately we were not able to get back to you in time. I'd like to apologize for that.

Do you still need assistance?

Hi,

Thanks for still replying. Well, now my game is working fine. All i did was delete the entire The Sims 3 folder in My Documents, let the game generate them again, and i placed all mods and CCs again and still it's working fine. Thanks anyway! (:

Thank you so much. I was stressing majorly and thought "oh hey, game4theworld is always there for me, lets check." And lo and behold! The answer! It took a few tries but I finally narrowed it down to my skillz mod.

Still Broken... (sad)

Post by Solerilina on Thu 21 Mar 2013, 15:43

So I have scoured the internet for a solution to this problem... In my game none of the drop down menus work. They drop down fine and I can scroll through the options (such as all the degree options in University Life) but, when I try to select an option (like fine arts instead of business which is the first option) nothing happens. It just stays at the top choice. Same with parties... and the drop down menus when at work or school (work hard, slack off, etc...). Here is some info that may help:
This was not happening before installing Uni Life and updating to 1.50.
I am NOT running any mods nor have I ever. I DO however have custom content.
Running on windows 7. Plenty of RAM and Hard drive space.
I have cleared my cache file as this guide suggested, I have tried runniing the game while checking the "Play without Custom Content" button.
I am currently uninstalling the expansion to reinstall and see if it fixes my issue.
IF ANYONE has had this same issue and found a way to fix this issue please let me know.

Thanks!!!!

Pretty self-explanatory stuff, but if people actually read it it will reduce the post clutter in these parts, thanks!

Hi, I have a problem, my sim wants to get a second degree, but when I enroll again it doesn't send my sim, it asks me to move a household or create a sim.

Hi Isis could you make a new topic so we can help you resolve your issue, you can always add a link to this topic saying you tried everything in it with other steps you have tried.

Also could you explain how your sims were before trying to send them, did they appear normal for instance, all the information you put might be of use, even if you think it is not, we need as much as we can so we can get to the root off the issue

Thanks

Edit, are you sure it is not that screen where you choose where your sim wants to live whilst at university?

Sorry to take this long, I had had some trouble with my pc, but it's back to normal.
Actually it was right then, when you choose where to stay whilst in the uni, but it doesn't show my current sim, like the forst time I sent her, I don't know if I did something wrong.
I did the following: called to enroll, then my sim went there, but when the campus map showed, my sim wasn't there to send.
It asked me to do one from scratch or send a saved household.
