Delete extra Sims files for more space???

Post by suchathrillaaaa on Mon 1 Apr - 22:03

My computer especially in (C:) is extremely limited and I think the biggest problem is the files located in Program Files (x86) where the Sims and its expansions are. Since I downloaded the game and all of its expansion packs on here, are there any files that I could delete that won't end up harming the game?

Any other suggestions and helpful tips would be really appreciated!!!

Isn't this more software, not hardware?

No. Sims 3 might have not been made with the intention of being a proper PC game but it was made for PC, so there aren't a ton of console files left over like in GTA IV.

If you wanted to free up space that the sims is using, the only way to do so is uninstalling things.

Personally, I'd take a few hours and go through the programs you have installed, and uninstall any that you haven't used in a while, or that are unnecessary for you to enjoy things.
