Help

Hello,

I didn't play my sims for a little while, and today i tried to start it, the game start aswell but then when i'm about to choose a household the screen is so big. So i tried to change the setting and turn them back as they were, but as soon as i try to press "Ok" my game stops running and i got a message saying " Your sims 3 stop running, windows is looking for a solution".
I tried several times and each and every time my game stop running...
It's pretty horrible to play with the setting i have right now, hope you can help me.

Looking forward for your answer!
Thank you!

I assume you've tried re-installing your graphics drivers right?

Did you check your actual screen resolution?

If you go into "Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3", there is a file "options.ini" That's the in game options. You can go into that and set your defaults. About a third of the way through the text is the screen resolution. Match that up to what your screen actually is, and see if that helps. If not, I'd recommend trying windowed mode. You can also get this to happen in that file, about half-way down. (To find them faster, you can search for "resolution" and "Full screen") And for the windowed mode, just set it to 0.
