Questions about gameplay. [SOLVED]

Post by bokisis on Sun 28 Apr 2013, 15:50

I recently installed The Sims 3 and all expansion and stuff packs. Now I have some questions about its gameplay.

1.Is there any way dogs can "|pee|" in a house (not on a floor, on some specific place)?
2.How I can choose my loading screen? I bored of University Life one. (P.S. I tried many mods for this but the doesn't work)
3.How can I add more than 3 traits to children (in CAS)?
4.Can my Sims travel from town to town? E.x. My home town is Sunlit Tides and I want to travel to Barnacle Bay.

Hello there,

Unfortunately I can only help with 2 of your questions (as I haven't yet played with pets and children sims).
Concerning #2 : have you tried the solution
here ?

About #4: there is no "direct" way of travelling between towns; this is not like travelling to China, Egypt or France.
If you go into "edit town" and click on your house, you'll also get an option to save your family to the bin. Afterwards you can load a new savegame (in another town) and place your family from the bin into the new world. You might also try the
Porter mod.

Thanks, I seen that there is an option to save your household + a their house to library. When I save them, will all their traits and skills I learned (in previous town) be saved?

Yes, the traits, skills and even the job (and job level) will be saved Smile

I know the other two:

1. No.
3. You can use Nraas' Master Controller to add more traits to ANY sim, however they will lose the extra traits when they travel. To prevent that you'll need this:

http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=410544

The downside is that any new sim generated by the game will be given the maximum amount of traits that you chose, other sims as well if you enable Story Progression.

Hello,

You can use this mod to travel to all towns as if you were going to have a vacation there. It'll also allow your sims to move to a new world permanently.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply!
Glad to hear it's all working now.
