As you see, the buttons on the bottom of the page have sort of disappeared.
Link to page, please?

Also can you give us a list of what is going to be changed so we won't be redundant?
See opening post. Smile

//EDIT

What text is cut of on the "Store Fixes" page? Screenshot, perhaps?
NOTE: The Store Fixes are often updated, so be sure to re-download them from this page from time to time!

Cut off in what way? Can you show a screenshot of that, please? (Working fine on my side)

By the way on the contact us page:
- Forum……...: & Email……...: doesn't need that many periods.
- this line: 'Live Support: http://www.games4theworld.org (Read THIS, please)' is redundant as the live support info is located below it.
- 'Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/games4theworld' can be changed to Twitter: http://twitter.com/games4theworld'
- Our Live Support has 3 departments:

Technical Staff: for if you’re having problems with our downloads. (Or anything else)
TeamViewer: see below.

only has 2 departments listed?

Shocked
Well, regardless, I think G4TW did an outstanding job. Granted there are some problems and other issues that some folks can't seem to over-look :Pbut at least give these people some credit for putting up the site.

Throughout the last few months people were hounding Admin and the others about the new site and now that it's here??

Could we at least say something positive as well as the negative? Instead of going right to critiquing mode? They do provide us with free and safe stuff and they really don't have to?

So come on, guys and gals, can we show our gratitude as well, please? It is the polite thing to do.Very Happy

We are trying to help here by giving feedback. I'm not saying this website is terrible or anything but I know from experience that getting feedback on your website from 'outsiders' is extremely helpful, especially when there are bugs in the code which you haven't discovered yet. So please consider my posts as trying to help.

I really like how there are pictures and descriptions of the package files. There's many times where I'll forget what items are in them since the package names tend to be different from the Sims 3 store name. Very Happy

The logo and font size also looks way too big to me. My screen is 1440 x 900. Using Google Chrome. And the logo picture is broken when you click the Sims 3 link on the left. I guess you aren't even supposed to be clicking that. But I was click happy and it opened a page. Here's the page Link.

I like the basic color scheme but the orange on the popup menus is kind of overpowering. Nothing to worry about if you like it, just saying.

I downloaded a few files and the speed was great. I only have a 6mb/sec dl speed but it was maxed.

And thank you by the way. We really do appreciate what you guys are doing.

Hey,

This is fantastic and how awesome are you guys in fixing things so quick?  *hands out cookies*

My only issue is the HJSplit program.  I can open it just fine, join files just fine...but then what?  How do I get the new joined file into the game?

Same here but only with some of the files like the Rococo_Set, I joined the files but after i couldn't install them. It worked fine with Dragon Valley Gold Edition.

Yes, this! I am so happy to have a website to use to d/l items as you're able to build pages around the d/ls instead of just file sharing. FANTASTIC!

One question I do have (and forgive me if this is too similar to the above) - why are some of the downloads split into as many as 6 parts? Is it because of the size? If they're all .rars it seems like they could be compressed enough, but maybe I'm wrong. Also, if the solution has to be that they are split, can you correct the format descriptions for each neighborhood below the d/l table (for instance, on this page: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/ts3/neighbourhoods.html) to match what we're actually d/ling?

i.e. Maybe on "Aurora Skies Gold Edition" it says "Format: multiple .rar files (Open and extract using WinRAR, and join files using HJSplit.)
(bolded my additions)

Once you said that DV worked, I tried that one, and did get it to work, same with the MedWedSet, those combined just fine.  Rocco did not. I figured it out on my end.

For anyone else wondering how to install, once you join the split parts, it should combine them into a single .sims3 pack, easy to install from there.  I've been extracting the .rar files into a new folder on my desktop and listing that as my Input folder, and the output folder as another new folder, then moved into the launcher/downloads folder upon being joined.

EDIT:  DV installed just fine into the game via the launcher, however the MedWedSet failed. The launcher gives me no details as to why, it just said Failed. I've tried more than once.

Yes!!!cheers Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I just wanted to say that I like the site. Been waiting on this ever since mediafire took it down. The pictures of the objects are really nice to see in case I forget what's in them. Oh, and the color's just fine with me. Heck, it could be black and white and look like crap and I'd still be happy with it. (Which it doesn't by the way.) You guys are awesome!!!!

Forgot to post this with my other comment. The chocolate fountain was part of the Le Cirque Celebration! set which I think was out around February or March 2011. Maybe you can narrow it down. Also if you look on the site for HJSplit they have a manual that shows you how to use it (it's easy and has pictures). I hope this helps you!  Very Happy

Can you tell me what is HJSplit and how to use it? I'm kinda new here
Plus where do i find the chocolate fountain set?
Sorry to bother you :0
Forgot to post this with my other comment. The chocolate fountain was part of the Le Cirque Celebration! set which I think was out around February or March 2011. Maybe you can narrow it down. Also if you look on the site for HJSplit they have a manual that shows you how to use it (it's easy and has pictures). I hope this helps you!  Very Happy
Thank you, sir!
