So I'm getting a MBP (2010) on Sunday. Do any of you use this laptop for sims game play? how is it?

Hello,

Yes, here are people who have Macbook Pro and playing Sims with it so it's okay.

Frankly, it's really challenging to play Sims 3 long term on a Mac partition. EA hasn't done any work on the Mac version since .. oh, ever. Registered, paid users have complained about frequent game-crashing "Exception Raised" errors for four years. They just announced Sims 4 for 2014. Virtually no chance the Mac version will be stable anytime soon. G4tW versions may be more stable than the retail distros.
In a pinch, since Macs are superior in every possible way, if you get tired of all the Mac workarounds you can easily Bootcamp some Windows-whatever & Sim your life away Smile
There's a thread on suprbay.org that's is pretty much everything you need (besides a Mac)... I'm new, I can't post external links yet. Google is yer friend - the truth is out there  Wink
