family inventory problem. [SOLVED]

Post by CharMed on Mon 27 Jun 2011, 14:57

hi
i have a problem with sims 3
After going on an adventure and putting some stuff into my family inventory, i cannot get the stuff back
they won't appear the in the family inventory
its empty
I bought a treasure chests and nectar maker machine, from France, and when I got home Its not there
even the car that i had was not there

some said delete these 4 files
CasPartCache.package; compositorCache.package; scriptCache.package; simCompositorCache.package.
from My documents, Electronic Arts, the Sims
i did and went again to buy the nectar maker but still I have the same problem
and the 4 files that i deleted was back in the same place

other than that the game is working perfectly fine

Hello,

I don't know a lot about the in-game stuff of the game, but did you try putting it in the inventory of one of your Sims?

I had the same problem in France. Then, my sims went to China and I made sure the family inventory was empty. When they came back, the stuff I had bought was in the family inventory. They later went to Egypt (with the China stuff on the inventory) and when they came back, the stuff from Egypt wasn't there. Maybe you should try emptying your inventory before you go on vacation. I haven't tried it on France, though.
