Library Folder. [SOLVED]

Post by deblake60 on Mon 25 Nov 2013, 00:02

My game started to act up and not actually starting anymore. I ran the Dashboard and the only problem I see are the packages in the Library Folder, which are corrupted.

Is it safe to delete those files or do I need to try a different solution?

If this is in the wrong area, my apologies.

Hello,

As far as I know, there is no way of telling what house/lot exactly is 'corrupted', which means you might want to try removing all contents from this 'Library' folder. If you do that, then all your custom lots/houses will be gone from the library. I strongly suggest that you just rename that folder (into anything), instead of deleting it.

Also, can you be more specific with the "not starting anymore" ? Do you get any error message, or just a blackscreen ? In case of the latter, have a look at this topic: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t14295-ts3-black-screen-nothing-working-solved

Let us know the outcome !

Here's the update. Once I deleted those corrupted files, my game had no issues at all and I'm not seeing anything missing in the Lot Bin in edit world? So I will count this as a win-win. Thanks for your help as always Carlos! Laughing
