Unable to move sims in/out via phone or edit town, help!

Post by kimblor on Tue 17 Dec 2013, 08:57

Hi guys, I recently encountered an issue within my game that I thought was due to some bad CC.

My CC was mainly limited to G4TW uploaded store sets and cars from Fresh Prince, and with every expansion except Into the Future, my game always ran perfectly (I used the manual patch, ultimate fix etc).

After installing some stuff from TSR I went into my game and tried to move out one sim via Edit Town-Split up Household and instead of adding her to the clipboard, it does nothing - the cursor loads for a second and then nothing - she can't move out, even via the phone.

It's never happened before so I removed all of my CC and re-installed only the good stuff (that I had before the problem) and it was still the same. I then ran the game without CC and nothing has fixed it.

EDIT: I was having trouble with the Milkin' It Dairy Corral, and I downloaded the store fixes but they didn't make a difference, so maybe it's a store fix issue?

I'm now wondering what I can do to get it back to the way it was, or if there's a known cure?

Thank you in advance! It's my legacy family so I don't want to lose it  Smile

Hello,

Did you actually try saving your sims into the "bin", in edit-town-mode ? If this works, you can then go to the main menu, create a new save, and then put your sims from the bin into that new neighborhood.

If that doesn't work, you might have to consider to actually delete all your CC, which is going to be 'difficult', but let's see. Let us know about your progress ! Smile
