Finally got the sims updated...............however a problem has arose: Download File will not open

Post by clovrboy1 on Wed 05 Feb 2014, 16:50

Anyone else having issues within the sims3 that the downloads file can not or will not open unless you cut it and then paste it someplace else?  I have never had this problem before.  I have to manually cut it from the game, paste it someplace else then open it. The rest of the files I can open but can not open my download file.

The one in game.............in the documents within Thesims3.  I have never had this occur before.  I have always clicked on it and it opened.  I have been clicking on it and it seems like it is dead locked.  I can remove it and paste it to the desktop and open it from there and insert in files then cut and paste it back into documents, sims3 and then open the game and install content.

You should not be deleting this folder...
Any content you wish to install is either:
¤ a .Sims3Pack, then you double-click it and it will install through the launcher (limit is 10 at the same time).
¤ a .package, and you need to have a Mod folder. Then simply put those files in there and they will be automatically installed!
