I'm sorry, I don't have a #crack for 1.66, only for 1.63 (see my post above). Sad

I'm also sorry to hear that this 1.67 patch doesn't work for you, but sometimes, this game has inexplicable glitches...maybe EA changed something about compatibility on the 1.67 patch, so that it causes problems on some computers, but I'm not sure.

In that case, try sticking with 1.63.

Not just you (Razz )...

But seriously; can you update us on what exactly you did ? I assume you re-installed again, this time with the 1.63 patch + 1.63 Ultimate fix, from the link I posted above somewhere ?

Now, have a look at this here and do all steps: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t857-the-sims-3-crashes-freezes-to-desktop-fix-updated-on-7-01-2014

If your Windows is a 64-bit version AND if your computer has 4 GB of RAM or more, then focus on step #3 in particular. Download the "4 GB patch" from here. After downloading, double-click on that 4 GB patch and in the next prompt, choose the TS3W.exe in your base game location. Usually, that's C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Note that this method will not work if your Windows is a 32-bit version and/or if your computer has less than 4 GB of RAM. After that, go on with the rest of the steps.

Then go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete all contents inside the Currentgame.sims3 folder. Also, in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. You may even turn off your anti-virus program completely before playing The Sims 3. And even lowering some in-game graphics settings, in the options menu of The Sims 3; depending on your computer's performance.

Keep us posted !

P.S. since the 1.67 patch + fix doesn't seem to work for you, please stick with 1.63. Wink

Do you guys have a crack/fix for ITF expansion, that does not trigger the unofficial game modifications message?

What's the patch level you are on ? Here in this topic that I posted earlier here: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t15955-link-for-163-patch-solved

You'll find links to the 1.63 patch and the 1.63 Ultimate fix. I hope you haven't updated to 1.67 again ?  Shocked

Because I mentioned that in my previous post: you should look at the ealier posts here, and in that link I just posted you would then find the 1.63 stuff...

Well we do not have it anymore...
Which is why we advise you to update your game to 1.67 and then use the Ultimate Fix.

I'd say you stick with the 1.63 version. Smile  See my previous reply...
