Taking pictures and world adventures problem

Post by KarsSmidt on Sat 13 Aug 2011, 20:54

Hello,

I've downloaded Sims 3 + all expansions for the PC, it works really well so thank you g4tw. But there's only one problem. When I try to make a picture I can do that, but when I'm done the picture icon in the upper left screen won't go away. If I click on it the red cross on the icon appears, but it still doesn't get away.

Also, if I go on holiday the screen sometimes freezes for a few seconds but then it works again, and this goes on all the time, pretty irritating.

So what do I need to do to fix this?

No mods downloaded, don't even know what CC is.
I have the newest game version via origin.

Trouwens, ik zie dat jij ook Nederlands bent.

Hello,
Also try to play in windowed mode. There is a downside to it, you can no longer use edge scrolling, but it makes a difference with your lagging problem.
I've only just started playing WA and I have noticed there's more lagging in destination worlds than there is in the home world and playing in windowed mode made more of a difference for me and my low end pc than lowering the setting did.
I'm playing with most settings set to medium and there's little lagging as long as I don't try fullscreen.
I haven't tried taking pictures yet so I can't help you with that.
