Hello storeguy,

I would for now continue using the computer. See if you get the bluescreen again.

If you don't get it again, it was most likely just a "one-time-thing"; that happens with my computer too (rarely, but still). Razz  Do post back on here for any updates, if you want. Then we'll see how to handle that bluescreen.

Hi there,

The OP didn't mention any BSoD, Carlos? Razz
But yes, use the computer and let us know if it happens again.

It sounds like a hardware issue to me. (Something not being connected correctly, not being recognized, etc.)

Yes, that's what I interpreted into the opening post. Even if it wasn't directly mentioned. Facepalm  Razz   Sometimes, when things do not seem to be "clear" at first sight, I use my mental "autocorrection", which may or may not be correct of course.

If it happens right after a shutdown it could be an overheating problem.
In which case, do not use it on a soft surface and be sure the fans vent well.
Or buy a second fan.

Or use compressed air to clean most of the dust out of the fans. Razz

the beep when its booting indicated an issue.... depending on the beep it can tell you that your memory stick isnt working... It can tell you that you have a bad processesor... issue with the motherboard... and other issues with the computer itself.  If it then proceeds to run, I would say it is most likely something wrong with your ram... you should be able to tell how much ram is working on ur computer by looking at the system properties.... it can say 2 instead of 4 if one of the memory sticks is broken or not connected properly. I hope I was of help Smile There should be a list of beeps available online for the type of computer you own... Good Luck!!

Maintenance

Post by FONX10 on Sat 27 Jun 2015, 18:52

Lets see the problem:

Try to change the thermal paste in your processor.
then check your fans (see if it is rolling perfetly or it is stucking) if yes, unleash the fans with a no water solution.
check your bios config (see if your config matches your hardware specs)
Do a Clear reset Bios (GOOGLE IT)
Clean your computer (get rid of all the dust)
clean your RAM with an Eraser (yes Eraser! it really works)
Then Format your PC in AHCI mode (Change this config in your bios) AHCI means SATA mode
BE HAPPY.And have a cup of Tea.
