Keeping my save files?

Post by Alvin11954 on Mon 10 Nov 2014, 10:28

First of all, thank you for finally uploading a torrent for the Sims 4, the wait was worth it  Carlos is tha man Carlos is tha man Very Happy

So I've been playing the sims 4 with the Skidrow crack (Well, 3DM crack supposedly, but I've updated to what they call the proper crack) of the game, and I had a save file there. If now I'm switching back to the G4TW version, how can I keep that save file? Help

Hello,
Go to \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and backup the saves folder.
Then put it back after the install! Voilà! Wink

But I'm pretty sure my original game isn't updated to the newest version, but only to the ghosts update. Does that make it any different?

Hi there! Smile

Not really. The latest update should work just fine with save games from the past one. After all, the first time that everyone updated the game the saves were from the previous patch, too.

Backing up the Saves folder from the current folder and putting it in the new one after the install should be enough.

Good luck, and please let us know how it goes!
