Bin permission

Post by Denis0715 on Thu 13 Nov 2014, 06:19

After installing the ulitmate fix, everything goes in but the rld.dll and RldOrigin.dll from the bin folder. Everytime i say yes to copy and replace it says i need permission to access it.. even though i went into the bin properties and took full control of it. Nothing else is running the bin folder to make it stop and i turned off my antivirus.. I can't seem to get access to my bin to add the two .dll's. And trying to run the game gives me the "the dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E0)" Help! Need to replace these .dll's somehow..

Edit: Tried reinstalling the game and now im getting this.. these .dll's are screwing with me lol

Hello,

Can you completely de-activate any anti-virus software on your computer and try installing again ?

I'll try uninstalling my anti-virus completely and see if that changes anything!

Edit: Well that did it! These anti-virus are a pain sometimes lol. Thanks for the help, Carlos!

The rld.dll is part of the crack that we are using. And it is almost always branded as a "virus". Try adding the folder "The Sims 4", located in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts to the "exclusions" of your anti-virus program, too.

Anything else I can help with then ? Smile
