I managed to get my sims 4 and all the DLC and get to work show up in my game and i can play without the the origin running. I dont know whether this works for you guys or not. This is what i did

1. I uninstalled all origin and sims 4 - (i used cccleaner)
2. I uninstalled antivirus - i think maybe u can just deactivate it temporarily. and dont forget to make exceptions for sims 4 download files
3. and then i followed all the steps in http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-updated-on-6-3-2015
4. I restart my PC - (dont forget to deactivate anti virus after pc turns on)
5. First i installed origin. n then i close it
6. I installed the sims 4 base game from games4theworld.
7. After finished installing, make exceptions for sims 4 application in windows firewall (just follow the link above ( no. 3 ).
8. I restart my PC again - (dont forget to deactivate anti virus after pc turns on)
9. I tried launching the sims 4 without origin and it worked! - i was testing whether i can open it or not without origin, then i exit the game.
10. I open ultimate fix (from games4thworld) folder and follow the instructions carefully.
11. Paste the ultimate fix file on the sims 4 directory (just follow the instructions in the folder)
12. I launched the sims 4 game (without origin) - it works and my dlc (outdoor stuff shows up in the game)
13. Exit my sims 4 again
14. And then I paste the files from sims 4 - get to work (from games4theworld)
15. Launch again my sims 4 (without origin) and all my dlc and expansion is there!
DONE!

* if your sims 4 suddenly not responding and crashed, that is probably because you have unstable cc mod in your sims 4 game. remove the bad mod and it will work fine again.
I haven't started playing actually, but i hope it works well.

@orlandokatana wrote:Failed at step 9. Doing everything step by step, when getting to step 9 I get the "Unable to start: Initialization error at start up. [135dec40;984c6a38:00000077]" error. If I go ahead anyway and apply the ultimate fix then I get the "Unable to start: Origin is currently not running. Please [...] " error.

I have to mention that:

- This is my 4th or 5th attempt to install the game.
- During this time I uninstalled the game and cleared registries before each attept both manual and using CC Cleaner.
- I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64
- During my attempts I put all folders I worked with (both download folder and subfolders and install folder and subfolders) in antivirus exceptions list (Microsoft Security Essentials) and in teh last attempts i just turned it off.
- I did the same with my windows firewall, at each attempt I put the .exe as allowed both in home and public networks; eventually I just turned the firewall off.
- Other than these 2 I have no other security software.
- Always made sure to have vcredist_x64 and x86 installed and even if they were I pushed the "repair" button just to make sure.
- Always restarted PC after doing anything.
- Sometimes, I managed to get the game going only with the ultimate fix or GTW applied but I had to keep Origin opened in offline mode => I had no new content.
- Tried to close Origin after I launched the game => worthless.
- I even tried the crack posted by Carlos in a post above, still nothing... get the same "Unable to start: Origin is currently not running. Please [...] " error.
- Base game, ultimate fix and GTW were downloaded by torrent from G4TW.
- No CC or mods at all. Always tried fresh.

I really don't know what more I can try. I know the problem is somewhere on my part but just don't know what or where to check in order to fix the problem. Sad I followed all the tutorials and fixes posted on this website step by step and it just seems that I'm facing a new kind of issue - and I guess it has nothing to do with GTW since I can't even start the base game with or without ultimate fix and GTW. Sad  Any ideeas? Or what should I print screen or get from logs to give some idea?

***************************************************************************

I decided to start a new thread since my problem seems very different from what others are having. I restarted the whole thing, again, for the 6th time Facepalm
I decided to start one thing at a time and right now I'm at the stage where I installed the base game from G4TW and getting the "Unable to start: Initialization error at start up. [135dec40;984c6a38:00000077]" error. Ideas? Sad

Thank you in advance.
Orlando

-----------------

Later Edit: If the info helps for a solution, I messed around a bit more and noticed that after I put in the GTW files and try to play with Origin in offline, in galery shows my username. I can't seem to be able to do anything to make it use RLD as user. If I close Origin entirely I go back to the "Unable to start: Origin is currently not running. Please [...] " error.

Later Edit2: Any good reason for which the base game writes this adress in registries for game .exe: "C:\Program Files (x68)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\" ? :$:  I changed it to x86 but did not solve my problem thou...

Hey guys, before i managed to successfully installed sims 4 i also had to install and re-install the sims 4 and origin for 2 days (dont know how many times).
I think the last one that was different was because i installed origin before i installed sims 4 base game. and i never open origin, not even once. (before installing anything, check your antivirus and windows defender is off). After install sims 4 base game check your windows firewall for sims 4 app exceptions.
oh and one more thing, i extract my sims 4 + ultimate fix + get to work zip folders again (even though i already had the extracted folders).

I hope your game works Smile

During my 'adventure' i also checked my control panel program list - i uninstalled programs that are not important (never used) and i also found a program called setup 01 that i dont even know in my program list, maybe a glitch? when i uninstalled it, the setup was a sims 4 setup.  (i've already uninstalled my sims 4 and origin). so i just clean up my programs by removing the unimportant ones.  i dont know whether you've tried this or not, but maybe it will work.

edit:
- oh, and after i uninstalled Origin, i also checked if there's any other Origin file left in C:/ProgramData/Origin. <-- i delete the Origin file. and i delete electronic arts folder in documents (or you can move it)
- i also clean my registry by using ccleaner before my sims 4 installation.

Again, deleted everything manually and with CC Cleaner from everywhere I knew including registries, ProgramData, my documents... Reinstalled Origin, never opened it.. not even once... Allowed through firewall, antivirus off...Fail thou.. same error for base game, and the other for gtw Sad I guess the last thing I could try is to do a clean Windows install...

I prevented my antivirus from scanning inside archives... Also utorrent does not see any changes in the file structures... usually when i had problems with cracks and antivirus, utorent showed the downloads as damaged and asked me to re-check and re-download... Thou, I guess its easier to try this before going for fresh windows install... will give it a try... Ty for the idea Razz

Using windows 7 and Microsoft security essentials... we are so different yet same problem ^^ I'm gonna take a day off and save everything I have around and will go for a fresh windows install as I have tried everything (i think)... maybe windows has some bad registries somewhere that cc cleaner does not repair... or maybe some dlls... I really want to see (actually I don't but meh..)  how the installation will go with a fresh windows before installing anything other than what sims 4 needs, thus I could exclude some suspicions Razz

Good luck guys! wish I could help more, because I know how frustrated it is when you don't know what the problem is with the installation.
Let the forum know when you got the sims 4 working ok? I want to know what cause the installation to fail, because even i dont really know what my problem was and after many installation attempts, my sims 4 installation suddenly worked.  Shocked

Sorry I did not return with any feedback, work kept me busy and could not find time to do a fresh Windows install. Thou I have some positive info: Having the laptop with me around I tried to install the game there and worked PERFECTLY (I used the same archives downloaded on my PC so I know for sure those were not cleaned by my antivirus). Here is what I can share about the experience:

- Using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (same windows as my personal PC, even same installation source so its definitely not the windows version causing problems)
- I NEVER installed Origin on my laptop, not even before the attempt and obviously no reason to do it after.
- I just installed the base game offered by G4TW and the Visual C++ x86/x64 provided - tested it and worked fine (I even forgot to allow it through firewall before testing Very Happy )
- Then I just copied over the Sims 4 GTW content offered by G4TW - tested and worked fine with "Welcome to Get To Work" prompt, RLD as user in gallery, etc
- So with the same Windows and partly same software installed on both machines, the only difference between them would be that the laptop had a fresh Windows install more recently while the PC had a lot of s**t installed/uninstalled/modified in time...

Thus I must guess that something installed from the past is interfering with the files/registries/dlls used by Sims 4 or the Reloaded crack. Unfortunately that is my work laptop and is also pretty low in terms of specifications and despite the fact that it works is not a solution to play on it and most probably will go on with the fresh Windows install as I said before... the experience thou, showed me that most probably this would be the solution.

This is really strange but does make sense. i have never installed any sims game on my rig before sims 4 was the first one. i really wonder maybe any other software on pc is causing issue. ill keep working on it and try to find any other software and services by EA.
thanks for the info though
