Initialization error at startup

Post by hackwerm on Sun 26 Apr 2015, 20:36

I have only downloads from here, and before Get to Work, it worked just fine. Now, I get Initilization error at startup. After trying everything, including putting things into the exceptions on my anti-virus, I figured I would just uninstall and start over. However when I go and click uninstall it says one of the game files is corrupted and to repair the install. It doesn't give me the option to repair though, so I'm not sure what to do!

In my trying everything, I found 3 different places with The Sims 4 in Program Files. I originally had a legit copy of the base game, so I have The Sims 4 in the Origin Games folder, I have a C:/Program Files (x86)/The Sims 4 folder with all of the same files, AND C:/Program Files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 with the same files.
