Crash Problem

Post by Pyrocrastinate on Thu 16 Jul 2015, 00:48

Hello all! I am having a problem that I have had before, but on a different computer. Whenever I try to open my game, it immediately crashes after I open it with no error or 'not responding' message. I have applied the Ultimate Fix and cleaned out my entire game, and I know it is not a CC problem because I deleted all my CC. I'm not sure if its a specs problem, considering I've checked and my computer has the specs to run the game, and it has run perfectly fine before. I tried applying an older fix and the results did not change. I would really like help with this... It sucks not being able to play.

Hello,

See this here:

You can find this option in Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings. Choose the setting that I marked with an arrow in the screenshot ("turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"). The click on "Apply and then on "OK".

Now re-boot the computer ! After the re-boot, play on and see if anything improved. Another possibility could be to lower some graphics settings , in the in-game options (when you are in the main menu).

See for now if that improves anything. Good luck !
