Save issues with the Sims 4

Post by BklynLadyy1 on Thu 20 Aug 2015, 15:34

So my problem is that when I want to save my game (even b4 the ultimate fix was applied) it will look (?) like it is saving but it will stay on the screen forever. I even let it stay like that over night to see if it will maybe work over time and still nothing. So what I have also noticed is that when I have a lot of cc in my current game is when it happens but if I keep my game VERY VERY limited with cc it will save. So what I am trying to find out if is this just really a issue with my cc or my game saves? Help

Hello! Thanks for the bump, I did not see your thread, sorry!

Did you try "Save As..."?

If it doesn't help, it may be a CC, it may be a corrupted save, a corrupted file. Does it happen only with one save or with all saved games?

Can you try renaming your "The Sims 4" folder inside your "Documents/Electronic Arts" to something else, make the game generate new folders, create a test game, save and see what happens with a plain vanilla scenario, incase the options above don't help?

Please, keep us posted!
