Hello,

Have you tried deleting the file "localthumbcache.package", located in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ? Also, I'll assume you have tested the game with mods removed (if you had mods, in the first place) ?

Do you notice any other interaction issues, beyond the thing with the sims ? Or any other issues ? I am thinking that - because savegame corruption seems to be common in Sims 4 - it could also be the case with you, but let's not assume anything here.

Do post back about your test results.  I tip my fedora.

Welcome to the forum @Julie21,

No, beyond that, I don't really have any other explanation for the moment. Sad  I mean, if you want, you can try going to Documents\Electronic Arts and change the name of the folder "The Sims 4" into anything else. Start up the game, make a new save for the moment, and play on. Test if the same happens there too.
