Expansion Packs Not Showing Up

I have installed Get to Work and Get Together, making sure to carefully follow all the instructions.
I opened the game to find that it works perfectly, except, the new world and most of the new content included in the Get to Work and Get Together expansion packs are not showing up in game. I do not have Origin installed on my computer, I have already checked to make sure. Can anyone tell me how to get the new content and new worlds to show up in my game?

What is your anti-virus program, and do you know how to configure exclusions in it ? See this thread (again) for an introduction to the subject matter:

In the end, it is up to you, to learn how to configure your own system. As a possible alternative, try and see if it's already enough for you, if you just turn off your anti-virus system, for the moment.

I have BitDefender. I have correctly configured exceptions to all the Sims 4 folders. Unfortunately now, when I try to start the game it tells me that I need to make sure Origin in running before playing, however, I do not have Origin installed on my computer. Should I reapply the fix?

From my perspective I can't really tell whether you configured your anti-virus exclusions properly. If you want to give it a try, uninstall BitDefender and re-boot the computer. Then re-apply the files from "Get together" (without the Ultimate fix). See if that makes any difference.
