New Minecraft authentication system.

Post by Webmaster on Wed 06 Apr 2016, 13:01

Hello everyone,

For all of you who have played on our Minecraft server (Server address: ) before, you'll notice that you can't immediately join and play from now on.
We've installed a new security system, which prevents accounts from being hijacked.

So how does it work? The first time that you join the server, you'll be asked to set a password. You can do so by typing /register [PASSWORD] , where [PASSWORD] is a password chosen by you. Note that you have to use this password to log in to the server next time. It will be linked to your account.
We use 30 minute sessions, which means that as long as you're using the same PC, you don't have to log in again if you leave the server and join back again within 30 minutes. After that you'll be prompted to log in again with the password you set earlier.
You can log in (after registering, of course) using /login [PASSWORD] , where [PASSWORD] is the password you set for your account upon registration.

Here's an overview of the commands you can use:

/register [PASSWORD]Register yourself on the server
/login [PASSWORD]Login to the server
/logoutLogout from the server
/changepassword [OLD_PASSWORD] [NEW_PASSWORD]Change your password (You have to be logged in to do so)
/unregister [PASSWORD]Unregister from the server
Should you run into any issues, please contact @Captain Admin or @SeoY, either via the Forum or in-game.
Note: If you do not login or register within 30 seconds, you're kicked from the server and you have to join again.
