No, 46 MB is the required extra items for Dine Out on top of the Ultimate fix.
So when you already have the ultimate fix, all you need is the new folder Game.

Apparently there are some bugs in the game. Not because of this download but they also appear in the officially bought games.
One of them is not being able to alter the menu
See THIS TOPIC

According to EA/Maxis this problem is caused by Mods in your game that are not compatible with Dine Out.
Try to play without mods or replace some of them.

It would appear it is CC related.
Users reported that once they removed their CC (or disabled it) all works fine.

I am filtering now through my CC by going from scripts and then to the simple stuff and will post if I find it tonight Smile

Okay good folks!

I found where my was.
A specific mod that works in a way as a script to extend the cheat menus:
UI_Cheats_Extension_v1.4
This was the file that caused (for now) all my issues.
No Cull and SuperSpeed3 I can confirm are not the problem.

The issue actually came from an exception caused in the interface and modules.

Hope this helps someone and again wanna thank everyone from G4TW for providing the repacks and Tarac for this wonderful update tonight Smile

Okay, I have the last Ultimate Fix installed (there is a GP03 folder in the game's main directory), but I don't know if I did something wrong because your "patch", didn't work for me. I followed all your instructions, but I have experienced two problems: 1. After pasting game to my Sims folder the game's language was, as you stated, English but only Dine Out showed up in the game apart from base game (no expansions, game or stuff packs), 2. I tried to change the language in RldOrigin.ini to Spanish and when I did this, well, I think the files corrupted or something and only base game loaded. Luckily, I had a back-up copy -I think I'll just wait for the Ultimate Fix tho. Either way, thanks for providing this solution for the impatient Smile

EDIT: Sorry, my fault. It works perfectly. Just had to change the language settings in RldOrigin.ini BEFORE pasting your fix to the main game's directory. Thank you so much and happy simming.

Yes, it is all-in-one, but what if you have all that stuff already and you are just waiting for Dine Out.
You spend 6/5 hours on downloading whilst it could be done in a matter of seconds. (15.52 GB versus 46 MB)

Ineed yes it is. It seems that well get Dine Out, but sadly there isn't included Backyard Stuff.

Assuming the newest patch would come with Backyard stuff, this is a good thing. Their current patch has a number of problems. I would absolutely advise people to always review the patch notes of whatever patch a new release updates to, because some of their patches seem more detrimental than helpful, and it would suck to be stuck with a bad one until the next major release.

Yes, if you got the original KAT-torrent, you can apply now the hotpatch (see the latest Global Announcement) and 'activate' the Dine Out DLC in your game that way. Smile

Note on the Dine Out Hotpatch:
It will revert your game to English again.
If you have your game in another language, do not copy the file RldOrigin.ini over to the folder Game - Bin
But you can always change the language afterwards by opening RldOrigin.ini with notepad and alter the line

Language=en_US to the language you want, f.e. es_ES (Spanish)

Now save the file and start your game the first time as Administrator.

Dine out was actually a let down imho, I thought we could hire our own playable sims / household as employees and actually do work like we could in the GTW expansion, which I was looking forward to.  WhatDidUJustCallMe?

Of course, we freeeloaders demand an immediate good working download as soon as a new stuffpack is released.
Why can't G4TW arrange that ?

That was probably intended as an indirect message, in case the scene groups or individual members thereof read up on these forums. Which of course I have no knowledge about. But even if they read up on here there is no use in prompting them to "please release more new stuff": they will release new updates whenever they can. I know I sound like a broken record again, but as I said somewhere above already: TS4 doesn't offer that much content. If you get bored with it, try finding other games, which encourage a more longer-term engagement.

In the meantime I decided to have some drinks in TS4 (since the bartender @Chez Llama for some reason couldn't be bothered despite ordering, I just took it on my own). Yes, mixology is a nice skill, in that the drinks you make can influence emotional states and give other moodlets too, depending on various factors (personality, active career, etc.). It would have been an interesting twist to the game if some dizziness or blur-effect was added in case a sim drank too much, but since The Sims traditionally tends to be a family/child-friendly game, it's not gonna happen I guess (unless someone created a mod for that).

Haters gonna hate

Bedtime now...
