My creations in The Sims 4

Post by simmer_tony on Wed 20 Jul 2016, 16:36

Welcome!
In this thread I'll post houses I made. I decided to do that because Gallery isn't anymore accessable from pirated copy of The Sims 4. If you want me to me some houses request down below, especially replicas of lots, houses, or people from other non-sim games.
Hope you like it!

Request List:

How to put user-made lots and sims in The Sims 4:

The process of installing lots and sims in The Sims 4 is relatively easy. This detailed tutorial will show you all the necessary steps for using the houses and lots that you downloaded from here.

1. Extracting
Most downloaded files will be in a compressed .rar(All downloads will be compressed in .rar format using WinRAR). You will need WinRAR for this, so download it.

To decompress the file, right click it and select Extract Here.
You'll usually get one folder and some files in it. First, there are screenshots and other bunch of files that are needed for next step.

2. Installing the Files
You should place the files into the Tray folder, which can be found at Documents\ Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray.
Example of file formats that can be found inside the Tray folder are .blueprint, .bpi, .trayitem, .room and .householdbinary.

That's it. After you copied the files in their designated folder, the downloaded content are ready and now available for use in game. You don't have to restart the game every time you install a new creation. Simply refresh your Library and it will appear right away.

MoveObjects On - Some house creations require this script in order to place the lot properly. In mayority of my downloads you'll need this script file. You can download it HERE. To install, simply copy "tmex-moveobjects.zip" into the Mods folder. Do not extract or unzip. To enable,  go to Game Options -> Other- > and check the Script Mod box and restart TS4. It is on by default but you can use the command "tm.moveobjects off" to disable it.

3. Placing House
Open the Gallery (F4 key shortcut) and select the My Library tab.
Now all you need to do is place the house on a lot and your Sims can now move in. You need to be in Build Mode in order to do this. Also, be sure to have sufficient funds (if lot is occupied by household) and the required lot area.
You can place the new house in to a vacant land or replace an entire existing home.
And that’s a wrap! I hope you enjoyed this guide, and learned how to put user made lots and sims in The Sims 4.

Create sim and/or lot you want to share. Save it to My Library. Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray and there should be bunch of files with various extensions. Copy latest files that must have same time. There should be couple of them. Example: You created three story lot and saved it. In Tray folder there should be 1 file for house and 3 files for each floor. Similar thing is for sims. Copy files from Tray folder of your computer to Tray folder on your sister's computer. Then she should go to My Library and pick lot orsims that she wants to use.
