The Sims 2 - can I skip installing some of the patches? [SOLVED]

Post by emmysmokes on Tue 08 Nov 2016, 06:59

Hi! First time poster here.

First of all I wanna thank you for your tireless work supporting gamers! Wish everyone was like that.

So, I seem to have forgotten to install some of the patches while I was installing the complete ts2 Embarrassing...

Would that be a huge problem or am I safe? Should I reinstall the eps i forgot to patch only or should I just uninstall everything and start over from scratch? Why God.

(I haven't tried running the game yet)

thanks in advance!

Hello @emmysmokes and welcome to the Forum, Very Happy

You should be able to apply the patches just fine, even after you install other expansions/stuffpacks. These patches are essentially there to fix in-game bugs and glitches. Good luck!

P.S. for the "University"-expansion, see this thread here, if you haven't yet:

Hi there,

Sounds good! Should you run into issues in the future (for example after patching), do not hesitate to open a new topic so we can assist you again. I'll close this topic now. The Sims Plumbob 1
