So Confused, please help me.

Post by DrWho_99 on Wed 21 Dec 2016, 02:18

Hello I'm new and so i installed the sims 4 and started it, it worked fine, installed get to work, followed the steps started the game and it worked, i installed get together and i did the same thing i did to put get to work and when i clicked on the sims 4 it told me to open origin in order for it to work, so i remember that origin must be closed, so i went to the instructions and saw i had to move the sims 4 folder to program files(x86), so i did that and i opened up the sims 4, this time it told me that the folder got either moved or deleted and asked me if i should delete the shortcut, and i put no, so my questions are; did i do something wrong? do i need to start it all over again? or when i install the fix, will that help my problem?

Hello @DrWho_99 and welcome to the Forum,

If you like, please join the live chatbox at the top of the Forum's main page, I'll be there for a little while. Smile  If you also like, I'll try having a look at the problem through TeamViewer.

//EDIT

You could also try this here:

Make sure your properly added your install location of the game to the 'exclusions' of your anti-virus & Windows Defender programs. Then you re-add (copy & paste) the Get together-files over your TS4 install folder. Replacing all the existing items, when prompted. Good luck!
