Sims are completely black in game after adjusting GraphicRules.sgr

I hope someone here can help me.
I just tried to get my sims in HQ by following the steps on the following page:
I followed the steps untill step 3. The problem + solution is described underneath but it doesnt make sense to me.

"4. Possible problems and their solutions
4.1. If sim (or part of it) get black textures (example), it means there is incorrect shadow (sometimes - diffuse) map. If you want to find it, you need to change all wearable things by sim to standard stuff from basegame - skin/clothes/tattoos/hair/makeup/etc."

 Even if i take away the mods, i still dont know which mod is the problem. I also have used the Mod Conflict Detector, some mods turned out to be bugging the game, should i remove them all? they didnt cause any problem before this.

Step 3 on the site is: 
3. Correct size of textures

  • rle2 (diffuse, shadow maps) - 2048 х 4096;

  • rles (specular map) - 1024 х 2048 and for map, and for mask;  

  • normal (bump) map - not important.

Apparently the black sims are caused by shadow/diffuse map problems, but i dont know where to adjust these sizes. I cant find rle2 or rles anywhere. 

I hope my problem makes sense,

Sorry for the late reply,

If these problems happened after editing the GraphicsRules.sgr, re-applying the latest pirated update (if you downloaded from Games4theworld, that should be "City Living") normally helps.

As for the procedure, I'm not familiar with modding TS4, because I have to admit I have not much interest overall in the game. But wouldn't you need some third-party editor, to replace textures (sims4studio?!).
