game crashes as soon as i open it (solved)

hi so um
i got the game and the installation and everything's in the program files x86, but when i open the game it just shows a white screen and that 'the sims 4 has stopped working.'
it doesn't even show me an error code or what's wrong with it, it just says it stopped working. i need help ;_;
the game hasnt even gotten to the loading screen, it just turns white. i've tried to get the ultimate fix, as some threads suggest, but it's not available, apparently. my other friend who has this site's files doesn't have the fix and his files work fine.

Be warned: The ultimate fix, or rather the update-only fix will erase all DLCs you have installed so far. So, better to stay away from it. LOL. We used to have 'ultimate fix', but it was stopped long ago.
Checking: Is your game updated to the latest version? Currently it is 1.33 (Toddler's Stuff pack), and you need all the DLCs up till Fitness for it to work. Also, I'm sure you've read the guide here beforehand, but make sure you did not miss out any of the steps listed there.
Try opening you game in windowed mode, and also checking if all your drivers are up to date. Also, make sure that you pc meets at least the minimum requirement to run the game.
Do post any questions you have or perhaps you've managed to fix it, and thus, the solution here. I'll be waiting. (;

In general with the G4TW downloads for the Sims 4 you should not apply any fixes at all. Stick to this order !
1. Base game
2. Move install folder The Sims 4 out of the folder Electronic Arts to just Program Files
3. Get to Work
4. Get Together
5. City Living
6. Vampires (Toddlers)
7. Delete the folder Game from your install folder
8. Parenthoud
9. Fitness
10. Toddler Stuff
11. Delete the folder Game again and replace by THIS ONE
12. Start your game as an administrator
Note: Steps 2, 7 and 11 are essential for the game to run properly.

i have the regular sims 4 with no packs, so i took a guide and put the dlc in that. i've ran the sims 4 regularly before, and i've windowed it this time, but it still crashes as it opens.
and i followed those steps, i put the new game file in, and my game is definitely up to date. eeee

I see. Assuming that you have installed the DLCs in order has Tarac had posted, check that your sims 4 installation is out of the Electronic Arts. If it is, and is currently in C:\Program Files (x86), try to move it to just C:\Program Files instead. You can also check your folders to make sure all the EPs/SPs are listed inside. They do not belong there.
The folder Game has the wrong date and is not the correct folder for playing SP12 (Toddler Stuff)
Delete the existing folder Game.
Download THIS FOLDER
Extract with Winrar
Put the downloaded and extracted folder Game in the directory as shown in your picture
Start the Sims 4 via the folder Game\Bin\TS4.exe or TS4_x64.exe as an Administrator by rightclicking on it

Including what Tarac had mentioned, there's a language change folder as well at the very top. Have you moved it out as well? Also, when extracting the games and DLCs, did you extract them somewhere else or immediately INSIDE the installation folder? If it's the second one, I'm afraid you need to uninstall your game and re-install it again. Take note that you need to copy + paste the DLCs to the installation folder, rather than extracting them inside.@ame wrote:done, but it still crashes
