Freezed Neighbourhood Loading Screen [SOLVED]

Post by Bootyful13 on Sun 08 Oct 2017, 15:39

First I want to say that I’ve been playing TS4 all downloaded thanks to this site with no problem at all. But now I have an issue with loading screen. I’ve searched every topic on the site but found no solution.
So, I tried running the game from both Game and Game_ folders. While running it from Game folder it works - no freezed screen but at the same time none on mu DLC appears. From Game_ I cannot play any families on any save not even a new one. Loading screen freezes, but I can hear it’s „working” when I f.x. press a key to pause the game or speed up, I can hear the sound then.
I reinstalled the game, it didn’t help. There’s no way I messed up instalation order cause like I said before I played the game for months with no problems, it just happened over night.
I tried running the game with no Mod folder, but it also didnt help.
I changed the location of my The Sims 4, no effect.

Please help Very Happy

Hi there!

If you play with the Game_ folder, then mostly likely it's from a previous version, perhaps Vampire. As such, your recent saves might not be able to load.

Did you by any chance install any update only fix/ulitmate fix as well? If you had followed the guide and did NOT install the ultimate fix, your DLCs should show up properly. What s your recent EP/SP currently?

Hi   I tip my fedora.
My latest is Toddlers Stuff.
The thing is when I run the sims via Game_ DLCs do show up, but then I get a freeze screen.
DLCs don't show up via Game folder.
I didn't apply any Fix

Hey,

I see. In that case, try placing this new game folder instead and see the DLCs are there is you use the Game folder.

You can also try to start the game with a fresh sims 4 folder in Documents as well. Simply rename the current one to sims4backup and then run the game as administrator.

I found the solution! For some reason I was missing one of the Toddlers Stuff folders, which is weird, don't know how it got deleted. But I reinstalled the game again and everything is back to normal.  IAmSoHappyEmergahwd

Thank you very much though! Case closed  I'm so happy emergaw
