DirectX 9.0. [SOLVED]

Post by Kshin12 on Mon 30 Oct 2017, 08:59

Hello, I have been trying lately to open The Sims 2 but get an error saying Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manafacturer the application will now terminate. I have tried many fixes all over the games4theworld website and couldn't find any anything helpful. Please help!

Hello,

Have you tried downloading/installing DirectX9?

Are you 100% sure you copied and pasted the crack file (Sims2EP9.exe) to the right location? That should be C:\Program files(x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin?

And did you replace the existing file there?

This error can also be caused by "a too modern graphics card".
There exists a program that places your graphics card in the Sims 2.
Search for graphicsrulemaker 1.1.0
