Yet another problem

Post by AzzyLeaf on Mon 23 Jan 2012, 05:12

I'm sorry for posting so much, but I've gotten past both of my old problems (turns out it was the compatibility mode that messed it up) and came across another one. I'm sure I went wrong somewhere during installing or something, but when I go into create a Sim, there are no hairstyle options and no clothing options. Did I somehow misplace them?

Mod edit: Topic moved to the right section.

Hello,
Well its almost impossible that you misplaced them during installation.
But are you using any mods/cc?

Nope, I did, but deleted them when I was having troubles with my game.

It did, I deleted the Mods long before I went into game. I installed Barnacle Bay, but other than that, I only have the base game and Pets expansion pack.

Hello,
Sorry about my late reply. I was going to think about it, and then I forgot Facepalm
I've done some reading and there's surprisingly little to find regarding this problem. Lots of problems with custom hair and clothes, but not with original stuff.
I could find only a few solutions, the first is to update your video drivers. If these are up to date, it may be a bugged install and uninstalling/reinstalling might be the only option.

before uninstall

just rename your sims 3 folder (user folder created in user/documents/Elelctronic Art/Sims 3 to Sims 3 OLD

restart the game (new fresh clean Sims 3 folder will be created by the game!

- if the problem persist then uninstall all
