Did Origin break my game?

Hi there, 
So I was trying to launch my sims (the same way I always have) and it wouldn’t launch at all. It eventually kept giving me the dreaded “turn off origin” error. 
Then right after that origin kept popping up saying I had to update my origin client. Which is weird because it wasn’t running at this time nor does it run on start up. So I just uninstalled origin completely and added the new update to no avail. 
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess that your Windows Defender and/or third-party antivirus have tampered with the cracked files, leading to these issues. Have you made sure to set up the right exclusions? See this introductory guide here. To turn off Windows Defender under Windows 10, look HERE

But that's not enough...once you set up exclusions, you have to install new cracked files. What was the latest DLC of The Sims 4 that you installed?
