Sims 3 Nraas-Mods don't work?[SOLVED]

Post by Buttercup on Thu 26 Jan 2012, 13:25

Hi!

I have two problems.
1. If I have my mods- and packages-folder in documents, no files will be detected. So I have to save all the files in the game directory.
2. If I have objects or packages in the mods folder (in the game directory), they are recognized and everything works, but the mods from nraas don't. Also the window, where the mods should be listed, isn't there. Previously, before a year, everything worked fine, so I miss these mods. I use the current versions of the mods.

Operating System: Windows 7 32bit
Versions of the game: 1.29/2.17/3.13/4.10/5.8/6.5/7.3/8.0.152/9.0.73/10.0.96/11.0.84

I hope someone can help me.
Thanks!

Hello,
I think that your Nraas mods need to be placed in the mods folder in "my documents", and they may not work because of an outdated resource.cfg.
The framework you can download here has an up to date resource.cfg.

Hello,
And you have a mods\packages folder, the mods themselves in the packages folder, and the resource.cfg in the mods folder?

Hello,
I'm not sure what to tell you, I'm using a bunch of Nraas mods myself and they all work fine, hmm let me think. You say they worked before, at which point did they stop working? And when did you last update the resource.cfg and the mods?

I think they stop working when I loaded Generations or Town Life Stuff? I installed them on my sister's Computer too and since these expansion packs it also didn't work...
I update the mods and the resource.cfg every month.

Hello,
Like I said, I'm using the mods myself and never had any problems, so I really think you're either using outdated mods or putting them in the wrong place. You may want to double check that they're up to date.
I'd be happy to have a look if you want.
