Anyway I can get the 64 bit version?

Post by brianhoagie on Fri 30 Mar 2018, 04:29

Hi Games4TheWorld! I have a 64 bit Windows 10 Laptop and I launched the Sims 3, and it was the 32 bit version. The game looking at a visual and graphics aspect, it looks pretty weird and "unfinished". Anyway I can make Sims 3 64 bit so that it looks more clearer and better? Thanks!

There is no 64-bit version of the Sims. You can adjust the graphics settings in game however to match your hardware setup so the game "looks" better.

Welcome to the Forum @brianhoagie,

Bear in mind as well that the game was originally released in 2009. Yes, I think that is a good enough "excuse".  Haters gonna hate  Jokes aside, there indeed never was a 64-bit executable for TS3.

You can use the the 4GB patch (google it), and apply it on your TS3W.exe, which will make your game use up to 4GB of your computer's RAM. That's not going to improve your graphics, but it's still a recommended measure. For example, to reduce the likelihood of saving errors.
