When you tick (select) the folders:

Delta

EP01

and then click on Download, you'll have a Winrar file called Download.rar that contains the base game + Get Together for version 1.42.30.1030
Extract with winrar, delete the existing folder Game in your install folder and copy the extracted folders to your install folder The Sims 4
really i dont understand what you mean

@Tarac please refrain from posting any download links/guides here that are not related to my alternative installers. Otherwise this topic will get messy and can lead people to believe they need to download something beside my installers. As @kimoo said they are downloading my latest Full Patch which already includes "Delta" directory.

@kimoo just finish downloading my patch, install it and if that doesn't help with your problem - download files that @Tarac posted. No need to download the same twice.

The update torrent only contains the files added or changed since update 1.42.41.1030 (previous update)
The folders in the page I gave you contain the completely updated  DLC's

When you install the full patch you can choose the destination
f.e. D:\Program Files\The Sims 4.
Change it to your present location of your base game

You should - not because of my patch (you can change the path) but because of a known bug that prevents game from starting if the path is too long. Default "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4" is quite long so I'd recommend moving it at least one directory up.

I wouldn't advice having The Sims 4 within a folder Electronic Arts anyway

Never give up !
If it still won't work make a clean start.

A. The anadius1 method:

Download the following:
The 6 items under the chapter Base Game exe and 5x .bin (I used mirror 1)
The 4 items for patch 1.42.30.1020 (.exe and 3x bin)
Under DLC's: GP01, EP01.

Now run TS4.1.0.797.20.exe
Default installation path = C:\Program Files\The Sims 4.
When that's completed run TS4 Patch 1.42.30.1020.exe
Install in the same path
Then run GP01.exe and EP01.exe

OR

B. The Tarac method:

__Installer
Data
Delta
EP01
FP01
Game
GP01
Soundtrack
Support

All 9 checked, then click on Downloaden

When download (download.rar) is completed, switch off your anti-virus, extract download.rar with Winrar by rightclicking on download.rar and select extract in.. Download.
Rename the newly formed folder Download to The Sims 4. Pace this folder in the exceptions of your Anti-Virus
In The Sims 4 open the folder Game -> Bin and click on TS4.exe or TS4_x64.exe to start your game.
You can now switch your anti-virus on again.

about @anadius1 method
i have some question
i already have the base game from this site is there any different between the G4TW and anadius version of base game
second question is (do i have to download the full patch 1.42.30.1020 and  1.41.42.1020
or just 1.42.30.1020 is enough
as soon as i get to home i will resume my download of 1.42.30.1020 full patch and try it on my base game

about  @tarac methoud
the only problem in it is i have to download about 13G and it will take a while from me beside i already have the base game what is different

i really didnt download fitgirl torrent because i dont need all the dlc but i really regret that Sad

The anadus1 method.
Patch 1.42.30.1020 is sufficient, no need for 1.41.42.1020
Of course you can try it on your present base game.
In total, the download for this method is approx the same in GB as the Tarac method.

Re: The Sims 4 alternative installers (install DLCs in any order you want!)

Post by anadius1 on Tue 24 Apr 2018, 21:34

@kimoo the only difference between G4TW and my base game is that I included soundtrack in it. The rest is the same.
I made patches similar to those Sims 3 ones. Full patch is full patch, it can be applied on any version of the game. So 1.42.30.1020 already contains 1.41.42.1020.
You said you've got Get to Work DLC from G4TW, so your installation process, using mixed G4TW files and my patch, should be:
Base Game (G4TW)
Get To Work (G4TW)
Full patch 1.42.30.1020 (my installer)

I'll word my question differently, because I don't feel it has been addressed sufficiently yet.

Is it conceivable that despite the seemingly matching hash check, that some of the DLC above are "outdated"? Or even simpler: what was the patch version you extracted these DLC from? Is it really the 1.42.30.1020? Because as said, (most of) the subfolders under Delta are changed with every new patch.

Hash is the simplest way to check if two files are the same. Bit to bit. So there is no chance they are outdated. (There is something like hash collision when two files have the same hash but the content of those files is completely different, meaning one of them is garbage.)

I think I made them all with patch 1.41.42.1020 but once again, it doesn't matter.

DLC installers contain only "The Sims 4\<DLC folder>" and "The Sims 4\__Installer\DLC\<DLC folder>" since they never changed since the release of The Sims 4 till today. DLC updates, however, are stored in "The Sims 4\Delta\<DLC folder>" and are included in my patches. So when you install DLC it doesn't overwrite any patch files.

To be exact my Full Patch contains everything except:
"The Sims 4\<DLC folder>" & "The Sims 4\__Installer\DLC\<DLC folder>" - since those are in DLC installers
"The Sims 4\Data\Simulation\SimulationFullBuild<number>.package" & "The Sims 4\Data\Client\ClientFullBuild<number>.package" - since those files never changed since the release of base game (patches are in "<Client/Simulation>DeltaBuild<numbers>.package")
Some garbage files I exclude in every installer (logs, .bak, .lnk files)

It's alright.

But you should generally avoid using HTML on this Forum here, because improper tags can not only break the message content but even disrupt the Forum layout. On this Forum you can only have HTML globally, or not at all. A better system would be to only allow certain users or groups (e.g. Administrators) to use HTML.

@Creeper open dlc-toggler.exe and try to enable them. This should be done automatically during the install, IDK what went wrong.

Hi anadius! Noob here, I already have the base game and used to have the G4TW standalone patch for it. Downloaded your 1.42.30.1020 Full patch so I can download a few of the DLCs but I'm having issues opening the bin files, tried Daemon, Power ISO and WinBin but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance! Smile

@larahbanana you need both .exe and .bin files. Just run the .exe. Wink
