Regarding Sims 3 expansions

Post by djottard on Wed 08 Feb 2012, 12:58

Hello!

I would like to install both Generations and Pets, but I am wondering which one of them I should install first, I actually have already installed Ambitions, Late Night, Outdoor Living Stuff and Master Suite Stuff.

Due to several former issues including aging, I am a bit scare to reinstall Generations Sad

Anyway, I'd also like to share an helpful website I found out recently which has a quite comprehensive list of known- or lesser-known bugs and its possible solutions Smile

Thanks Smile

Hello,
It doesn't really matter which one of them you install first, as long as you apply the fix after you install both.
I'd recommend making a back up of your save games in case you experience the same issues after installing Generations, but there's a chance these issues were patched.
Thanks for the website, I'll check it out and bookmark it!

Thanks for answering so quickly Smile
I have a last question : If I experience the same ageing-problem, do I have to uninstall Generations before using my "back up save games"?

Hello,
I'd keep the back-up in case you have to uninstall Generations, so your progress wont be lost. Its simply a matter of copying your "saves" file from your documents folder to another location.
