Sims 3 Pets

Post by Pelle on Sat 25 Feb 2012, 16:55

Is it possible to download the hairstyles only from Sims 3 Pets? I would like to have them on my game but installing Pets seems like too much of a risk and it will probably make me reinstall the entire game which takes several hours as I have nearly all of the expansions.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Don't be afraid of things! We're here to help and if you have any problems during the installation of Pets, we'd be more than happy to help! And if it didn't work, I'll promise to install the game for you myself, via TeamViewer.
Just be sure to follow these instructions and apply the Ultimate Fix correctly.: http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

I'll keep this topic open. If you have any problems and/or questions, don't hesitate to post them! Good luck!

Thanks for your helpfulness. Would I be able to install Pets on top of everything without applying any cracks? I have done this with both Generations, Outdoor Living and Master Suite Stuff and I didn't even have to reapply the ultimate fix.

Hello,

That's even better. Yes, if your base game version is 1.29 at the moment, you only need to install Pets, but don't apply any cracks and it should work fine!
So just install the game and you should be good to go.

Just to be sure, you might want to make a backup of your savegames;

1. Go to: My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3
2. Copy/backup the Saves folder.

Good luck and please let me know if you have any questions!
