Hello,
My entire game + all expansions are from torrent websites and work just fine. In addition, I'm using the entire store that came from that mediafire website. If you go on sites like, the original sims3 forum, or modthesims, a lot of folks will tell you that almost any problem you may encounter with a cracked game is caused by the crack. I know for a fact that this is just scarelore. Based on nothing but their negative attitude towards pirated games. Those of us experienced with pirated games can assure you that all that is just a load of Censored conjured up to deter you from sites like the pirate bay.
I recommend installing the store content when you finish installing the expansions you want, as I have said in your other post Wink.

And does that matter if i want to use the master suite stuff in the sims base game?

Hello,
The full master suite? The pack you're downloading is the full stuff pack, Admin downsized it but that doesn't mean it doesn't have the objects and other features you expect.
I'm not sure what exactly he took away from the files, but nothing you'll miss that's for sure.

Hello,
I've always used cracked versions of The Sims (1,2,3, life stories, pets stories, castaway stories, medieval) and I have never experienced any problems a person with a legit game wouldn't experience. The crack will not blow up your pc. As I said, that is just scarelore and you can't blame them for spreading it, they'd like to avoid that people crack the games and upload them to torrent sites.
And we've yet to meet the person that couldn't use the patch or the fix, a lot of people are using the ultimate fix and when properly applied, it will definitely work. Any issues you may experience will not be caused by the fix.

Hello,

1. No need to disconnect.
2. Yes, the Ultimate Fix is used by thousands of users and only a few have some problems. (Usually caused by mis-reading the guide)
3. Just install Master Suite Stuff, but do not apply any cracks. When you installed everything you want, apply the Fix, by reading the included "# Installation Guide.pdf".

Hi there,

Well, it's a lot of things. First of all, I personally hate the big companies who make millions, but provide support for their customers. I think most of them are rip-offs; when you want to buy something from them, they make you feel like you're the king of the world, but after actually buying a product, they are nowhere to be found.
Also I hate the "Noreply" e-mail addresses! They should call them "Pleasereply" instead!

Then there's EA. It's all about money. If you ever contact their (Live) Support you understand what kind of big joke that is. The people helping you have no personal experience at all and just keep copy & pasting things from their "Help" database.

And the most important reason; we do this for you, for the fun and the good feeling you get after helping someone. You are the power that keeps us going.

Hello,

And I remember what Lady ElDi recently said; the reason why EA didn't integrate all the The Sims 3 expansions into one big, good game: so they could sell the expansions for insanely high prices and make a huge profit.

You're always welcome to contact us if you have any problems. We'll try to help you with everything we can. Unlike *some* paid companies out there.

EA's idea of support is a joke. They have a forum on their official site and it only has a few people that are actually helpful and guess what, those people are not on the payroll.
Their forum is messy, the same questions are asked 100's of times and if you're looking for an answer you can find yourself sifting through dozens of pages of "I have the same problem!" replies.
Besides that EA's idea of solving any problem is:

"Disable 3rd party content and if that doesn't work, you're :censor:ed. Don't use a cracked game because your pc will blow up and take the lives of you and your neighbours. Oh and sorry about changing the system specs for Pets, we didn't know you poor sobs with low end graphicscards weren't going to read the back of the box. No you can't have your money back. Bye now!"

What he said. That's sarcasm, though not entirely, in essence this is what they're telling you. They will only give minor technical support and if you have in-game problems, you'll just have to figure it out for yourself. Besides that the game is buggy, how many patches have been released since the base game came out? I lost count. It's still buggy. (TES Oblivion only had 1 patch and a few minor glitches) And I'm using mods, because I was too annoyed with some of EA's features to play anymore. For example: with EA story progression only a few Sims outside your active household will fall in love, get married and have kids. Most of them stay single forever, or have a few flings, and end up adopting a baby with horrendous traits when they almost reach elder stage. Or your Sims' friends are suddenly missing. You spoke with them yesterday, now they're gone. No mention of their friendship at all. They emigrated.

So yeah there you have it.
