Simport question

Post by dannyella on Sat 10 Mar 2012, 03:22

As we all know the sims 3 website allows registration without the key but only with partial access.. is it possible to use simport with it? :/

I believe you need to have at least one legit game key to use simport. http://games4theworld.bestgoo.com/t3887-breaking-news-ea-breaks-new-record-don-t-update-to-132

If you read this announcement it should help you.

Hope it does.

Actually I'll just post the words of Lady.
"Hello,
Ok that's good to know. It appears that the use of Simport requires at least 1 registered game so no luck for those of us who don't have that."

Hello,
Yes that's our assumption at this point indeed. We don't know if it is going to be possible to use Simport without registration in the future. But if something comes up, we will let you know.
It seems like this is EA finally getting smart and using the popularity of social networking to get people to buy at least a little bit.

Hello,
Patch 1.32 is supposed to be a security update, so that may be why you need that patch to use Simport at all.
