Files downloaded when downloading the sims

Hi, my question is, once the sims 3 is properly downloaded onto the computer do we still need to keep the files that were downloaded? they took up A LOT of room on my laptop and had to uninstall everything Sad i'm very bummed. So if anyone knows please let me know, id greatly appreciate it!

Hello,

It's recommended to delete the files you extracted, but not the .rar files you downloaded.
For 2 reasons:
1. If you have to reinstall your game for any reason, you'll have to redownload them if you deleted the .rar files.
2. If you delete the .rar files, you wont be able to help seed the files. Torrenting depends on people who seed. So try to seed to at least a ratio of 1.000, preferably more, before you move the rar files at all.
You can always keep them on an external hard drive, if you have one.
