Problem with the .package files.[SOLVED]

Post by MonnaM on Sun 01 Apr 2012, 15:48

Well hi! I downloaded some .package files, and I copied them like it's told in Installation Guide. I don't really have problem with them, I just can't fint them in my game. Where is it? :newfag:

Hello,

What type of package files, objects? Objects can be found by using the buy mode filter to show only custom content. The filter is shown in the bottom right corner of this image, custom content is filtered by selecting the 2nd type from the top.

If they're not there, where did you place the files, can you show a screenshot of the folder?

Installation Guide it says:
HOW TO APPLY THE MODS (Modifications):

1. Select the "Mods" folder in this .rar file and drag & drop the whole folder to exactly:
(My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and drop the folder there.
2. Now, start the game, open the buy-mode and have fun using the new items!

But I can't see any new items... pale

Hello,

Open the mods folder, is there a resource.cfg file in there? Perhaps you need a newer version of that file.
You can get it here if you need it, scroll down a little and click download.
