Changing language from dutch to english

Post by hemmymomma on Mon 09 Apr 2012, 15:21

I was having too many problems downloading and installing all the expansion packs so I found a file that had all the expansions and I just had to unzip it. and it all works perfectly. but it's it dutch. Ive read that I can edit the default.ini file and change it to en-US but it already says that for all the expansions. I've included a screenshot. Is there something I am missing ?

Hello,

What if you remove all the other languages from that list? (After the [VERSION] languages=xxxx)

In Windows you could use the registry to change the language within seconds.

edit- You mean leave the " en-us" right ?

//EDIT

Hello,

She would've picked the English language if that was possible during install, I imagine.
The question now is whether it is possible to change the game language now, or not.

Hello,

I think it's only possible to change the base game's language during the installation. The rest of the expansions will choose the base game's language as the default language, right?

Hi Admin,

I guess so yes, but as she says in the opening post, she downloaded one that she could unzip and be done with it, so it looks like a preinstalled game. If she can't change it after the installation, she may be stuck with a Dutch game.
