I also want Seasons, but this one doesn't look too bad. It will actually add something to the game. Showtime sucked and should have been combined with Late Night/Ambitions if you ask me. I do have a feeling that Seasons will be after this one and that it will be the last expansion pack for Sims 3. Rumours say they are already working on the Sims 4.

Yeaaa well... I am really against sci-fi and supernatrual stuff in TS actually... I doesnt fit my taste, but hopefully it wont be to big of a difference for those who doesnt want to be transfered into a fairy Razz

God damn if they are working on The Sims 4... What more can be developed out of Sims series? Only better graphics if even so...

Supernatural is fine. It's a game after all, but I see the opinions about sci-fi s*it are mixed so it wouldn't be a bad idea if the sci-fi stuff was left out of the base game (at least the exaggerated stuff) and added all at once in one expansion.

Weather and seasons should have been in every base game though...

Yeah! I really loved the sims 2 OfB Smile

I don't like stuffpacks anyway. EA's designs looks like shit when it comes to hair, clothing and furniture. Worst part is that these people get paid for it :') There are designers out there who make 100 times more realistic things for free! I rather have custom content than a stuffpack.

Yeah like textures and designs for Second life are amazing compared to sims but its not sims 3 Wink

To be honest im not sure i like any stuff packs.. maybe outdoor living.. i get town life so i can have washer and dryer without needing ambitions.

Yeah true, and it's one I'm actually excited about. Showtime sucked and I wasn't excited about that.. I just hope the one after Supernatural will be Seasons. I swear, if they're going to do the same with Sims 4 I'll just keep on playing Sims 3, because I'm tired of waiting so long for such basic packs. Seasons should already be in the basegame if you ask me.

Hello,

If they would put everything in the base game, there would be no more rip-off. If they create a very basic base game, they can still sell the overpriced and almost "empty" stuff packs. And make make $$.

The only stuff pack i liked in TS2 was Ikea stuff, and high tech electronic stuff to... Rest was PoS.
Why i like IKEA? Ikea makes simple furniture that actually looks like furniture i have at home right now, basic design and nothing more Smile

Imagine if they put everything into the base game, and charged what they (want to) charge us now. No one would buy The Sims at all!

No not all expansions of course, things like Pets and Supernatural are additions. I mean, Seasons is so basic that it could easily be in the base game.

@Admin, Lady Eldi - Lol That's very true although we would have amazing people like Admin who get us the games we cant afford or whatever the excuse, I don't really mind the stuff packs because i don't have to have them but expansions i still would love to hear about it later then sooner because come on who wants to wait! once they show you the goodies! ugh.

@Bliss That does make sense i mean weathers not to much to add even if they didn't add seasons, some rain or leaves falling or something wouldn't hurt. although now that i think about it we may not even get it with Sims 3, they have to have something to kick off Sims 4.

Anyone else not really like Starlight Shores as a neighbourhood?

I've heard that there are some hints in the current codes of Sims 3 that we will have Seasons, I can't remember what it was but I'll try to find the source. And Starlight Shores simply sucks haha Very Happy

Well, now we know why they didn't put out werewolves at any other time.. They were waiting to add it in this expack.. So with that said, they could just be waiting on a certain algorithm or code to put out "Seasons".. Hell, they may already have 2 or 3 more expacks already developed and just sitting on them, to make more money, or waiting for the right timing.
