laptop not working when plugged

Hello,
What if you take out the battery and then plug it in? Then you should be able to use your laptop just fine.
Besides, that laptop is quite old, isn't it? So it's normal for the battery to be messed up after all those years (?).
As for the problem with your new laptop: do you get a blue screen when it shuts down?

no it just shut down like normal shutting down, then in few minutes i can open it again.. ty for the quick reply i really do appreciate.. as to my old laptop i saw a video on youtube and it's exactly my problem.. can i post the link in here.?
