Can't update sims!

Hey!
I have 2 problems.
1. I can't manage to update my ts3 to version (1.34.027). When I try it reaches the final step and then tells me "Update Error: Invalid file found"
Please help me.
2. My second problem is that my sims 3 keeps on glitching and lagging, and the "time" keeps freezing and then jumps forward without my sim doing what should be possible in these seconds and hours. If you need a video I can film it. The game is also really slow in CAS. I have no CC's and when I latest tried to play (haven't played in a while because of my problems) I had the newest ultimate fix.

AD: On the launcher it said the the sims update was 1.36, not 1.34.027.

I just feel like in order to solve you problem the obvious solution needs to be weened out.

Thanks, but last time i launched sims i had applied the ultimate fix. now, it might not be the MOST brand spanking new, but as i wrote i had it newly updated when i last played and still had these problems.

Sorry about that, just had to ask. I know you said you weren't using any Mod's or Custom content but do you have any cracks installed?

okay, and i only need one more thing sorted out. does the fix have to be "added" in any specific order or not?
