First flash!

Hello everyone,
Thought I should share: today I officially flashed my first Xbox 360 to LT+ 3.0 .
Bought all the hardware needed, just to flash (read: modify/ombouwen) this one Xbox 360, which a family member gifted to me, because it was broken. And yes, it's still broken
, but I was able to flash it. And yes, it took literally hours.
Mission accomplished, I'm a happy man now.

Hello,
It had been flashed by someone else before, but them updated. That's how the flash somehow got "broken"; it doesn't read any more copied discs.
Now, I re-flashed it and everything worked fine afterwards, except for the fact that it still doesn't load any copied discs and it still can't be updated due to a "Fatal error E81".
But the steps in order to flash it all worked correctly, so I assume it all went well. I was able to modify the firmware that was on the DVD drive.

Heya,
I got a couple of questions, and i thought instead of posting a new topic i'd just ask them to the admin, if that's okay with you ofcourse.
I got 2 xbox's one newer slim version and an older (white) one.
Have you got any websites or particular youtube vids i could watch to see how i could flash mine properly ?
Someone else was supposed to do it but i havn't heard from the guy in a while now.
P.s. If i should open a new topic than let me know, it's just that i came upon this topic and thought i'd ask

Hello there,
I don't know about the Slim, it requires a different method, which I'm not familiar with.
The problem is that even if I send you the link to a video, you still need some stuff, worth about €40-€50. And you have to open the Xbox itself, including the DVD drive.
I'm not sure whether it's possible to mod it without opening. And even if it's possible, you still need the special equipment.
