The Sims 3 patch 1.38. DO NOT USE IT YET! [CLOSED]

Hello,
The patch for game version 1.38 is out, but it's not recommended to use it just yet!
Doing so will only result in an error when you start the game. It could be "no disc found" (or something along those lines. Or the "unofficial game modification" error along with game crashes in build/buy mode. These errors occur because the current crack is only compatible with game version 1.36.
So please, refrain from updating!
The new fix, with an up to date crack, will be released on the same day Admin releases Supernatural, which will be a couple of days after its official release (on the 4th) at most. Until that time it is not advised to patch to 1.38. There's no going back once you do, unless you want to reinstall everything.

What if you updated it already? Yes, I did and now I can't open the game because of the "No Disc" thingy ... Now I know... What do I have to do?? PLEASE HELP!

edit: quick question even though i will have the original copy of supernatural will it still be ok to use the patch that comes built into the game?

i just install the update and don't judge me ok and i found out that the sims 3 Supernatural icon was there but not lit up i think ea wants us to get the update quickly you know

Sure, any patch will be ok, but until you get Supernatural, you definitely need a crack. So I wouldn't update until you have the game. You may need to use a crack after you get Supernatural as well, even if it is a retail copy. But I'm not sure.

Sure you can! Patching isn't mandatory. Not until you're going to install Supernatural anyway. At which time there's a working crack available as well.

Yes we did, stable releases are almost always even numbered to help tell them apart from Alpha and/or Beta releases. Not every software developer does this, but most do to conform with standard software release protocols.

I wonder if the new patch will also come included in supernatural? or will we have to install them apart? Also i've watched in a video that this patch brings population control for vampire, werewolf, witch, fairy, pets, horses and celebrities and a collectibles book.

hey guys yesterday i was installing the latest patch then i want to play game so i reinstall the base game then apply the patch 1.36 and now i can play happily
