BUrning question for sims 3 base

Post by kugda on Sat 08 Sep 2012, 03:18

Hello. I've been trying to find out if it matters what files i am burning onto each disc (looking like i'll be using 3 dics). Is there a certian set of files that are soposed to be on each disc or can i just break it down to what ever fits? thanks for any help in advance.

Hello,

There's only the crack, the installation guide, and 2 ISO's, how were you planning on breaking it down?

Hello,

No need to burn any discs, it's easier to actually mount them.
If you don't know what mounting means and how it works, please download and read our free Mounting Guide here: http://goo.gl/DStkX

I have mounted them before but every time a new EP drops that's worth getting i need to reinstall every game (and i delete the install files after i have everything is all set and working.) otherwise it will crash if i try to update the previous cracked version. plus it's nice to have hard copy backups.

And i've been using daemon tools and breaking down the isos and just taking out a file or two. at least that's how i did it for a few EPs haven't actually had a chance to test it out yet.

Hello,

I wouldn't do that.
You really don't have to reinstall all the time, if you follow these steps.
It doesn't hurt to burn the ISO's though, they should fit on 2 disks?

Okay so i found out why it was looking at 3 discs i had the ISO in the same folder as all the extracted contents. and when i try to burn the ISO it tells me it won't fit on 2 disks. Would you by any chance happen to know how to split it on 2 via ISO?

Opps my bad. it can fit on 2 discs I'm just not sure how to do it. if i try to burn the whole ISO it won't let the game burn because the file is 4.95 GB and my DVDs only take 4.7GB. hence why i was trying to split the files apart and separate them

Hello,

The .ISO's should fit on two DVD's just fine.
Do not split anything!

Extract the downloaded .rar file using WinRAR first. You'll get 2 .ISO's, and Installation Guide and a "# Crack" folder.
Download Ashampoo Studio from Games4theworld and then open it and choose to burn a disc image. Select the "Startdisk" .ISO and burn it.

Now, insert a new DVD and burn the "Disk 1" .ISO plus the Installation Guide and the "# Crack" folder.

Hello,

No actually WA and Late Night are too large to fit on 1 DVD, both are over 6GB.

Hello,

Since you only want to use the discs as a back up for the files (Why not put them on an USB instead?), just split the files using something like "HJSplit" and then put them on the discs, split.
