anyone else experiencing this? ....never happened to me.

Post by dhumbee on Mon 17 Sep 2012, 01:42

So i just updated my game, to 1.36, which i though i had 1.38 before...anyways, i didn't install super natural. just did the fix and updated twice. and still whenever i load and play my sim will read a skill book, or read to his daughter and they always freeze and the little blue icons that show their skill growth stays in that position on screen. So if i keep playing and resetting my sim...i have tons of little blue icons all over the house. why is it doing this? also I keep getting a box when loading that says, "you are running a unauthorized" blah blah blah please quit. I hit continue and it will load the game but could this have anything to do with it? IDK. Please help! Thanks guys!!!

Supernatural isn't needed for the patch.

Not sure what else I can suggest to try, so might have to wait for someone else who has more experience with the troubleshooting of Sims 3.

Edit: Also have to ask, did you use WinRAR to extract the .rar's?

I'm assuming you can't do the patch because your TS3.exe and tslhost.dll were altered, right?

Do you have any mods or cc?

And why won't it let you use the patch? Are you getting any type of error? If so, please let us know the error.
